i always thought that x7 and x8 were awful. i like the fact that you could be Axl or whatever, but i liked the other style of gameplay so much better. they made newer versions of megamn x and the original megamn for PSP, which i have, and currently am working on beating all 100 challenges....

you actually play OTHER GAMES???

See, that's the problem with the world today... If it doesn't come to you easier than CENSORED, then it can't be good.

But I'll tell ya what... you want frustration? I picked up the GC version of Anniversary Collection, popped it in, fired up 2, picked Airman's stage, and waled right off the first ledge. WTF?!?!?! Next guy, did it again. Then I realized the idiots at Capcom switched the buttons so that jump was fire and vice versa. I exchanged it for the PS2 version and emailed Capcom about it... they gave me some BS song and dance about having to cater to the Big Green Button. Uh huh... morons.

Mega Man 2 still pwns, btw. Mr. Green

I'm currently playing the Mega Man X Collection on my GC. This is way too much fun. I'm going to get the anniversary collection soon.

And I agree with Hylian Hero wholeheartedly, Ninja Gaiden, although somewhat suicide inducing - especially the end of the first one - was one of the funnest and greatest series' ever.

No game will ever reach the level of Super Ghosts n Ghouls. Contra and Mega Man are cake walks compared to it.

That is so true. I was playing it with an Infinite Armor code on, and I gave up on the 4th level. It's that hard.

Ok Mega Man is like Monopoly...you always think it's awesome and that you want to play, but the moment you fall off a cliff in the game and explode, it's seriously infuriating. Like seriously...I think it's awesome right now...but if I play it, I'm sure I'll be throwing the controller into the TV within 10 minutes.

I used to yell at Mega Man when, in the earlier games, you'd be on a ladder and fire at a flying enemy. Except Mega Man would sometimes fire in the direction opposite of the enemy!
