YAY!!! I was about to make a Bass thread because I want some more 1st.
I am almost certain your What I've Done path is optimal. I have hit that score many times trying to squeeze in another note. 0it really doesn't matter where you activate in this song as long as you stick with the actual numeric number of SP's in the path.
I'll path song songs once the Bass Charts are released. _________________

We need some paths... (hint, hint, nudge, nudge tma)
What I've Done is probably going to stay that way until paths are released (I forsee a lot of 1sts...Yes We Can, anyone?)
When I make some paths, I will be sure to post them here _________________

every path so far is definantly close to optimal. I have used every one of your paths and tweeked them just a little bit and I have 1st on every song by using your paths except 1. Most of the notes you listed to activate on are actually one ahead of what you need if you can squeeze properly. No need to change the paths though they are great references so far. I look forward to more paths to test for anyone who wants to post some.
If you want the score that your paths can actually get with squeezing just look up my scores for the 1st two tiers and those are with your paths. _________________

Thanks, I'm glad to know that someone is actually using these!
Also, bump for adding Tier 3; I'm especially proud of the Stillborn path, which beats the previous #1 by about 1000! _________________

BUMP for Tier 4. Note that the path for Today has the 'invisible' open note to watch out for --- see http://www.scorehero.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=81973 _________________

I've messed around with the BYOB Bass path, and from playing it a few times this is what I use.
3(+1) - Y whammy hold (whammy it) to G after the OBY holds (squeezing to the open note after it may be possible)
2 - the 2nd last blue in 'Party Time!' to...not sure yet >_>)
4 (+1) - the last yellow in the final chorus (the final note before the long Y strumming streak in 'Send The Poor 2'/the 2nd last Y in the final SP phrase) to...not sure yet
I haven't exactly been able to get a decent enough score yet to confirm if this path is good or not, but I might mess around with the song later and post my results. _________________

Once again I used your paths and everyone became a 1st besides 1. Your paths so far have been excellent, I only wish I had the skillz to path songs that don't even have charts out yet. Thanks and please continue! _________________

thanks for these paths (:
ive actually got about 200 - 500 higher then u using your paths on most these songs. but i didnt beat your stillborn.
you might not be holding the notes to the very end or your whammy is broke or something.
i got over 600 more on About a Girl activating the second activation 3 notes later (i think). |

Thanks for doing this. I FCd the bass on La Bamba on sightread and got second place on the leaderboards, it would be nice to get a 1st place score to brag about considering my skill level. _________________

I tried your path, but couldn't quite get the score you're getting on it; I'm probably just not executing it perfectly.
Anyway, I just put up paths for tier... 7? (I don't think the tiers are in the same order as they are in the game). 3 of the 4 paths landed me a cross-console first, so I must be on the right track I guess... _________________
