1 - RB measure 51 to 3rd RB measure 55 (squeeze)
2(+1) - 3rd RB measure 79 to 2nd Y measure 89 (squeeze)
1(+1) - GY measure 118 to B sustain measure 124 (squeeze)
Estimated Score: 332,994
This song does have one HOPO sustain in measure 124, which screws up the base score by about 100-200 points, which would make the estimated score that much lower. |
On the first activation, you could have it start a note earlier and end in the same place, getting another 200. On the third activation, with good whammy, you could get the next note also, getting another 400. For the weird sustain thing in measure 124 that only increases the score on the chart by 50 points so subtract that and you get a new estimated score of 333,544.
Oh, and for the spiderwebs path, can't you move that last activation back a note? I think you could gain about 150 points by doing that. |
Oh right, I completely ignored the 200 point green squeeze in the first activation for some reason lol. Although I'm not so sure you could reach the YO chord for the third activation.
And yeah, for Spiderwebs it probably would be better to activate on the B hammer-on instead of the G after the sustain. _________________

Thanks to jugular for those paths on Go Your Own Way and Hollywood Nights, i got 5th on both of those without good execution. Also, does anyone have tips for whammying those phrases in Weapon of Choice? I just can't quite figure out how to get the whammy while still hitting the notes. |

Pretty sure that second activation isnt possible. I activated on second until the
No matter what, I cant get the extra 1/4 measure.
I just placed 2nd on the leader boards under Piso (200 above me) and I got rest of squeezes. Piso may have gotten the after the , it looked possible, but i didn't want to restart song for 50th time.
I got 595,194 _________________

I just did the math, and for the second activation, you get a total of 28.129032258064516 beats of star power. With this amount, it looks like it's possible to activate on the SECOND green in the gallop ending in the GB and squeeze to the GR, and it might be possible to do the squeeze written in on the path, but I doubt it. _________________

Sorry, i'm still kinda knew to guitar hero pathing. I've been doing pathing for mainly RB2 and RB DLC. I'll try my path later and post some results.
Edit: In the second activation, I didn't look at the beats of whammy. I thought it was 2.5 instead of 2.37 or whatever. So definately move that up to the 4th green instead. _________________

For Today on Hard i used the path listed but modified a few things....
I kept the 1st activation the same at
2 - YB
on the next activation i moved it to the 3rd GY instead of the 4th and squeezed in the B in measure 46
and i kept the last activation the same at
2 - Y
so..
2 - YB
3 - 3rd GY squeeze in the blue in measure 46
2 - Y
and on the first activation i believe i got 12 points in ticks from the BO before the YB.
ended up with 199,006, global 1st by 40 points lol. _________________

In Soul Doubt's Expert path, it's 6676 points better to move the last activation to measure 95's 7th green note and overlap the last phrase. _________________

OK, this got me 1st on Lazy Eye. 532 points above piso. I missed two 400 point squeezes, 1 on the 3rd activation, and 1 on the last activation. So there's at least 800 more points out there with this path. _________________

Here's the path for Nuvole E Lenzuola an hard
2- 16th green, squeeze to 2nd to last note in the 3rd star power phrase
2- 14th RO, squeeze to the 4th RB in measure 61. Picks up one star power phrase along the way.
2- 14th RB, squeeze ticks out of the last note of the song.
I'm also working on paths for American Woman, Eye of the Tiger, Stillborn, and The Middle, all on hard in that order, so expect those in a few days. _________________

Second activation should start on the third RYB of m47 and last to the last GYB of m52.
Third activation can start 3 notes sooner and end where you have it marked.
Fourth activation looks like it can start a note sooner and still get that RYB.
Fifth can start on the GR in m121 and last to the RB. |
In regards to: PATH (Say Yeah!)
2nd: Lol dunno why I missed that.
3rd: 3 notes sooner!? Have you done this in practice? I call that impossible. Even 1 sooner is pushing it. (But probably will be done)
4th: It may, but I couldnt get it any time I tried.
5th: I drew the activation way longer than it is, but I doubt this as much as 3rd activation. Getting that previous looked possible in the runs.
The whammying in the charts must be severely messed up, or different calculations, because some of these even simple 1 whammy note paths I'm seeing will never last as long as the paths say. (I know a portion will always be user attributed, but I make sure I get everything I can when trying to determine the path lengths.) _________________

PoS Hard:
1- First RB
2- Third RB
2- First YO
3(+1)- First GR
2- Thirteenth G
This netted me second on the PS2, but it could probably be improved on _________________

Okay, here's path for American Woman on hard. The first two activations are optimal, but the I have no I dea wher the last activation goes. Where I put it is probably not optimal. Help for placing it correctly would be greatly appreciated.
3- Next note, squeeze to the YB in measure 34
3- Next note, squeeze to the fourth RB in measure 67
2- fifth blue, squeeze ticks out of the blue sustain starting in measure 90 (this activation is bad)
this path with this 3rd activation will get about 235,776, and the top score is higher than that so the last activation can be improved.
Also, I found the estimated score for my Nuvole E Lenzuola path, so here is the path with the estimated score.
2- 16th green, squeeze to 2nd to last note in the 3rd star power phrase
2- 14th RO, squeeze to the 4th RB in measure 61. Picks up one star power phrase along the way.
2- 14th RB, squeeze ticks out of the last note of the song.
Estimated score is 257,654 _________________
