Don't play every note? lol

Just play the majority and you'll make it. Then as you get better you play more and more notes.

It's not impossible, just very hard and a wrist killer unless you can use alternative strumming.

That same technique can be used for any song that you struggle with,

for instance if you come up with a four note streak and you only hit 2/3 you still won't be gowing backwards towards failing as much as if you stuffed up every note.

Also don't use star power for points until you can play the song without failing. Use it to stop you from failing. When an improbable bit comes up.

This song is one of my archilles heals atm yet it's addictive. That and Beast and the Harlot, both at best i can finish with 90% accuracy on Hard
And Carry Me Home i barely pass with 75%. That's gonna take ages to better.

Was the same with BATM and Cowboys From Hell on GH1, could never pass them, now i can get 95% accuracy atleast everytime.

Another good tip i found helps me with any song requiring HOn's and HOff's

Is to strum every second to third note in the streak. that way you aren;t relying on the HO's working.

So if for say i was playing a Hammer On GRYB

i could strum on G and Y. or G and B if another HO wasn't required immediately after.
And learn to use the pinky.
Playing with 3 fingers won't work in the long run.

Hope that helps. I'm definately far from a Guitar Hero but i can complete 95% of the hard regular songs and half of the expert ones. using those techniques,
