I got really excited too. Well, I can use that mid.qb file format sheet to my extreme advantage. That means I can extract GHWT charts now!!! YES!!!

It amazes me that no one has made a website that shares the PS2s GHWT song save files yet.
No modding or illegal stuff of any kind is even necessary to get them off your PS2 and onto the web.

If anyone questions the legality of distributing a game save, then I guess gamefaqs, codetwink, codejunkies, gameshark, xploder, etc are all breaking the law?!? As well as Gamestop for selling the software to do so? Yeah, I don't think so

Anyway tell your friends to share their song saves with us. Share them at link below till SH makes a spot for them. My save with $500,000 and almost everything unlocked is there too.

Since no one I has shared any PS2 songs yet, I have put up a post on Wiinews to see if the Wii's GHWT saves can have the customs songs extracted from the save and put into a PS2 save. From what I have read the Wii and PS2 versions seem to have the same GH Studio features and limitations, i.e. no line 6 effects. I have also posed this question to my code hacking colleagues at codemasters project. If any resident hackers like Gamezelda have already looked at this please tell us so they know which direction to go.

I put up that guide like, last October,
it's already proved to work.

I probably will do some PS2 GHWT studio customs in the future,
but I'll mess around with it this week. I did have 2 songs on savefile months ago to test it out on other consoles, which was a success, but the files were removed from inactivity.

only thread I could find regarding anything remotely like this.

world tour is on a dvd9, meaning it's either a dual layer disk or you have to shrink (remove) parts of the game to fit dvd5. is there any of the programs on this site to shrink the game? I'm just wondering because we all would have to do one or the other to make a customs for this right?c

there is a DVD9-DVD5 ripkit for WT, by psychospacefish.
It works, many other people as well as myself tested it.

World tour DL?
I ripped mine via wi-fi single layer
then burnt to a DVD-5, (after brikblocking) but no other modifications
i also burnt without brickblock (by accident) but then just re-burnt (DVD-RW) (also used DVD-R's though )

Is there a rip kit for GH:M already? I'd try to contribute but without that I won't be able to help
