As you know you clap the top of the mic or press A on the controller to set vocal SP off... What is a feasible way of using it while multitasking? I thought of using the controller like a stomp box, but I'm worried of it breaking.

You can say something, usually a "tsch", some kind of tambo sound, i don't know how to put that, for it to recognize the same thing as if you were tapping the mic, this way works pretty well I guess, I tried several times on RB, just to figure out, and it worked.

DO NOT TRY TO PUSH THE BUTTON BY ANY WAY IF YOU THINK YOU'RE GONNA BREAK IT. That would be terrible.

I usually make a "PAH" with emphasis on the p sound. I find that usually triggers it.

Making any sort of high pitched shrieking noise will do it quite nicely.
