I know it sucks, but this is just until somebody else remakes it.
Now come on people, you all said that you have a lot of time on your hands, and that you want to make banners, but I hardly see this thread alive at all. That's why I got up and made more banners >__>

I remember people were requesting this in erkle's thread.
Yeah, I decided to remake my Mr. Crowley banners. Since it's hard to find a bg pic, I just use random awesomeness, and since I'm obsessed with electricity, lightnings and such... Enjoy  .

Since there's no guitar icon, it means this is for GH3. But w/e.
This is truly one great accomplishment...

Woo, some people actually like my banners <3  .
So you like the blur effect? Should I continue putting it on my banners? I used a similar effect on the JIHKY banner, but I guess it's not as good as the movement/zoom blur. Thanks for your feedback, guys, and feel free to request something, since it looks like I'm the only one who actually makes these things  ....

I think the blur effect is OK sometimes, but not every time. The only effect you used that I don't particularly like is the echo on Johnny, I Hardly Knew Ya (which you missed an "n" in Johnny).
Also, your banners look more like erkle's than the rest of ours. Therefore, I can easily see why a lot of people are going to prefer your banners. Kepp up the good work! Every batch you do looks better and better.

Thanks man, you really always give me good advices on my banners and your critics are always welcome. And I don't know exactly, but do you mean that my font looks similar to erkle's or the background picture? And why would people prefer my banners? I would love it if they would, but I just don't know why.... Thanks man!
Yeah, the effect on JIHKY was put there so it can be tried out. I will gladly remake that banner if somebody wants it, although 2/4 JIHKY FCers don't post on the forums, so yeah....
When do I get to see your new banners if you're gonna make new? Although it looks like you have created every banner for every possible accomplishment achievable on the GH series.... Wow  .
ALSO, HOW THE FUCK COULD I FORGET AN "N" IN "JOHNNY"?!?! I LOVE THAT SONG, I EVEN HAVE IT ON MY PLAYLIST, AND I WAS LOOKING AT THE NAME OF THE SONG SECONDS BEFORE I MADE THE BANNER....

It's not really the font so much as the size and placement. I think people like that because your banners are more likely to match the 82erkle banners they already use.
Also, I've been making new banners every day and just adding them to my post on the first page. Maybe once this thread gets longer, I'll make update posts listing the new banners.

I believe 82erkle made Guitar God banners for every game except GHWT and GHM. There's a link to that thread in the OP of this one.

This. Good job ThunderAlex. These are starting to get better and better.
Anyhow, as for me, I just got a new PSP (Looong to explain) And have been playing a few games on that, but I'll squeeze some time in for at least some new banner's, and going on seeing what I'll do with the duplicate's. Changing the text to vertical just seems to be my style, but I need to experiment more. (And use gimp more)
Getting smash hits tomorrow, so I may be a bit slow on that...At least this isn't like erkle's thread where If he didn't do them nobody did...

As for you, with your new PSP (Looong to explain) and Smash Hits, I seriously doubt that you'll make some banners these days .
And one more thing: if you like vertical text, then don't use Paint.NET. It doesn't have that option, or I'm dumb enough and can't find it  ...

I believe 82erkle made Guitar God banners for every game except GHWT and GHM. There's a link to that thread in the OP of this one. |
no, I mean, a banner that combines the guitar god status for the old gen/HMX games (GH1, 2, and 80s, and possibly including 3), and the new gen/NS and BN (3, A, WT, M, SM, and 5)
