And don't do it at expert. Hard, at the most, preferably medium. Once you can alt strum things like maybe Ace of Spades or Decontrol decently at medium, move up to hard, when you get decent there, move up to expert and it'll seem like cake at that point.

YOu misunderstand. I can alt strum. i used that to 5 star BatM infact. it's the rythm for TBW i can't get down. maybe 5% of the time i can full combo a verse, but i always usually get of tempo because i'm either strumming too fast or too slow. I 5 starred this on Hard. but the part that owns me on expert is the part with the GY chords and the dare i say pull offs from BggYggRgg. i was just wondering if there was a trick to that. i got about 229,xxx as a high score on it. and i almost always get 200,xxx never any more. _________________

For the BGGYGGRG part you're referring to, just keep your finger on the G and lightly tap the rest with a consistent strumming pattern. If you try to hit the buttons too hard, the next note will be gone before you know it. |

It's actually tougher than most people think. This song has LOTS of random tempo changes that change like 15 bpm up or down. The main way to learn this is to learn the tempo changes and go from there. |

Would'nt it be more logical to get the tick on the last note? _________________

I know this is a necro and a half, but i can't hit any of the sets of GY chords and they're ruining my score. Are they a strange tempo, or is it just my strumming? |

They are (basically) the same exact speed as the reds with the same pattern.
Note that the tempo changes almost every other measure, so consistency is a jerk.
also, the first set of gy is 6 chords, and the rest (except for one) are sets of 8.
For the most part though, the strumming speed is pretty consistent for all of the parts, so if you can hit most of the song, the GYs should be about the same speed. _________________
