Is it possible that for some reason it's showing the Expert+ notes you shouldn't hit instead of the ones you should?

Just theorizing, haven't got the opportunity to play GH5 drums yet.

I don't think that's it. You CAN hit the notes, you just have to hit them late.

If it's like Expert+ from other games, hitting them late could be equivalent to hitting the "other" note from the Expert+ parts, depending on what "hitting them late" means.

Was just a theory anyway.

On the song by children of bodom, you can hit the fast pedal bit on regular expert with 1 pedal? can hit less than half and it fails me far sooner than it should; same as with some parts of scatterbrain.. xbox360 PAL version

Ok, I made another test. I played Demons on normal expert in party play and purposely only tried to hit the kickpedals and I could hit them exactly like I would hit any other kickdrum. Have I got an unglitched copy?

Try playing Done with Everything, Die for Nothing on expert and see what happens. I have no problems with Demons either so try another song.

these songs are embarrassingly broken [360, NTSC version by the way]

Demon(s) should be a fun/difficult FC but the double bass sections with notes taken out have all been failures. I may get 1 or 2 notes in that section, but then rest are all dropped after the first miss. There may be a way to hit them, but they are broken and need to be fixed. I haven't played too many songs that are E+ compatible, but I've noticed trouble in these two, 21st, and Deadbolt.
