I'm on Xbox 360 PAL version using RB1 stock kit.

Also having same problem for Expert+ songs. This MUST be fixed, I'm raging now.

It would be nice to get an update, or for them to at least acknowledge the fact that it's broken. But with these sort of things I never expect to hear anything about it. We'll just have to wait for an XBL update. Hopefully they are working on it right now, because if they aren't then they'll have a lot of very angry players/customers.

I started a customer service ticket about this and they have been very helpful so far. It sounds to me like they were largely unaware of the problem. I have been assured they are looking into it.

They have not had a lot of inquiries about this issue, so I encourage you to start your own customer service ticket explaining what system/drums you use and examples of songs/parts where you know this problem is occurring. You can do that HERE.

I've been getting very good response times via that system and, hopefully, if they get enough information they can find the problem and fix it.

Good luck to us all!

I'm on a RB2 stock kit on Wii, and I just got dominated by Scatterbrains and Spirit of the Radio, songs I can do ok on on expert. It may be due to the graphics, or this issue, idk. It needs to be fixed.

(i think) same here, ps3, stock rb1 kick, autokick enabled.
I can't do some songs on expert which i can do on expert+ (wich is basically the same thing due to autokick)

XBox 360
Demons and Done with Everything, Die for Nothing (I haven't tested any of the other songs mentioned here.)

Interestingly enough though, I took Demons into practice and played it on slower and slowest and the combo did NOT break. I'm really confused with what's going on here.

EDIT:

I saw it. I still feel like unless they get a large volume of complaints they'll feel it's just an isolated incident. On that note, do you think this would really be a hard problem to fix? It seems like a code issue that would take a day to locate and fix, a day to test (assuming Neversoft does play-test), and then they could release a patch.

The problem isn't the drum engine, it's the timing window. The middle of the timing window isn't in the middle of the note for 0/0 TVs so you can hit stuff very late but not very early.

*hint* Hit everything late until they fix the game*

But wouldn't you be able to still hit ON the note even if the timing window were off-centered like that? I've played enough to be able to in theory get past 10% of DWEDFN. Why would this only affect certain notes?

I might be missing your point here.
