Apparently you didn't read that right, since the Wii owners aren't getting the free pack |

Neversoft, thank YOU! You've always had fabulous free DLC deals...all we've gotten from Harmonix in the last 2 years is Miranda Cosgrove and two forgettable theme songs o_O
Thank you for being so generous, all my friends and I will play the hell out of all these songs |
Umm... you're forgetting something. Several somethings. 20 somethings.
This really isn't a great deal to Wii owners who don't like Metallica... 6 awesome free songs that are dangled in front of us while they try to appease us with a band that I don't even want... next month please. _________________

Well, considering you have to buy a new copy of Rock Band 2 to get them, their not really free, just a promotional item to get you to buy the new version. If you consider those tracks free, then you have to consider all of the songs of GH: Van Halen free too. _________________

Why in the world would it be 3 songs? Pretty sure they would've split them up instead of using /s. |
The new album has all three individual songs on it. Either it is all three individual songs, or it is a medley. I hope it's not a medley, though. _________________

So there really is no DLC coming, how weak. If they plan on stopping DLC every time they make one of their games exportable, we may not see any DLC for a very long time.

Uhhh they were, for a limited time. The 20 songs you get after you buy RB2 ARE free, you are not charged for them. _________________

I may think the lack of DLC for the game release is disappointing, but it's only once out of 4 times a month, maybe a couple times a year lol |

That's weak logic. So none of the songs in the free pack coming out this month are "free" either, because I have to buy GH5 to play them. You could have at least gone with a decent argument like "You have to buy RB2 new to get those songs." _________________

You can download the tracks off the marketplace whether you own GH5 or not. Whether you can play them...
is a different story

Worth it just for Fly Away. Pretty meh outside of that and the free songs, but when you've got three games coming out in four months there really isn't any room to complain about song selection. _________________

Finally! Metallica Death Magnetic DLC!! They need the other DLCs from Xbox 360 and PS3, like TDWDTG. |
