Question on the setlist

How would the songs compare to games like DDR?

Are they around the same style of music?

What excatly do most of the songs sound like?

The music on this game doesn't compare to any other music game out so far. It's entirely different, and hard to explain. They have a wide range of genre, but most of it is pop, rock, and hiphop. The thing is, they mix up the genres really good... like you'll get a pop song mixed with a hiphop song in such a manner that it not only appeals to a hiphop fan or a pop fan, but even to someone who doesn't care about either. The best advice for you is to go on youtube and type in DJ Hero and listen to some of the stuff. It's very interesting.

I don't like hiphop or rap music at all, yet 95% of the songs on this game sound nice. Even with so many hiphop artists, because they do a good job of mixing the songs... As someone else on this forum said in some other thread that I can't find... The actual songs used have almost nothing to do with the outcome of the song. It's all in the DJ who mixes them.

It's club music. Look up club music (or check youtube vids of the songs) and you'll know what type of music it is

It is def not club music.

It's just mash-ups, only way to describe it.
