That's... fairly limiting. The hall of fame should be for any song that deserves it, not one song every 3 months. What if you had 2 potential HoF songs in one quarter and then in the next quarter no song comes even close to those two? I'd rather have both the two deserving songs than one deserving song and some other song that's nowhere near as awesome. _________________

It's not that you can't choose songs already nominated before, so I doubt that'll be an issue. If two songs were both very good and on top then you'd probably just vote for it next time and it would get it.
You could also set a required number, that a song needs a specific number of votes to get in the HoF, and if multiple songs qualify they all get in the HoF. |

I think the conditions laid out by Reakt00r seem reasonable and practical. It might actually give people more of an incentive to make real high quality songs for the prospect of getting in the HoF every 3 months... It'd be pretty cool to see what people come up with. It sounds like a nice way of stirring up activity around here as well. |

I'm proud to say that I reported your post!
I guess if multiple songs can make it each voting period then that's okay. _________________

| I dislike the idea of voting periods though... It's not like this is a prestigious institution or anything, the 'hall of fame' is just songs that people agree are very good, good enough to be placed apart from the rest. Spontaneity kindof feels a part of it to me. |

You can nominate a song at any time. It's just that at each "ending period" people can vote for the song(s) they think is "HoF-worthy". So IMO it's still spontanious. |

Unlike GHMix 1.0, the average doesn't begin at 3 and work it's way up or down. The average just uses the votes. So, getting one vote for a 5* will in turn give your song a 5*. _________________

| The rating system in GHTunes 2.0 is much different from the original. I'm not sure which I like better, the original seems more steady, the new one seems a bit more sporadic. One second a song may be in the middle of the second page, the next, it may be #1 All Time Best-- rinse and repeat. It's not much of a big deal though, just different and kind of unpredictable. |

Hey guys, I'm taking requests for my next green day song. It has to be off of the American Idiot album, because that's the album I have the Piano/Vocal/Chord sheet music for, the vocal/chord part help A LOT. You can also request Guitar Hero World Tour or Guitar Hero Smash Hits. _________________
