The song is : Foo Fighters - Monkey Wrench vs. Beastie Boys - Sabotage (Born To Rock tier, on Expert)

Allright, tried 10 times in a row (easy, this SP phrase is the first thing you play), and never got it.

Am I the only one ? Or is my controller broken on this song only ? I've never had any major problem like this on any song.

Not a big problem, 5*'d it already but still...

It works fine for me. I've hit that phrase every time I've played that song, though you're not the first person I've heard mention that phrase being weird. I think DJ/Guitar tracks have a weird timing window, I always seem to have trouble keeping combo on them.

I believe the charting for dj + guitar tracks has many errors, especially in this song. Try playing it like this: the first 4 scratches, the slow up down up down, press and release the button for each one, then do the quicker up down up down with one press as normal.

I was able to get this every time doing this. Unable to get it at all otherwise.

I have the same problem.
Grimnir tip isn't helping but I'll spend more time trying later.
Also, at various times during the song, there are other easy scratches that I always miss (I think it's a basic UP DOWN scratch).
I really don't get what's wrong with this song (or with me )

yeah the green up down up (or is it down up down?) that is done several times in the second half of the song definitely has this problem aswell.

I was able to remedy it with the same solution, of press/releasing the scratches. And make sure when you press release that your releases are very quick! practically a tap of the button for each scratch.

Also try playing slightly earlier or later (whichever seems to work) I think I did this too...

Well thanks Grimnir, I could finally 5* the song using the "ultra-short taps" method but that was close ;) !
I won't play this song again I think, this is too frustrating.
