Hey, I recently got the game (today ) and I was wondering if any of you have tips on blue scratches. Green ones are fine, but blue is just too awkward for me to be decent. Any tips?

Have you tried using your thumb on the side of the scratcher? This helps not only for blue scratches, but also for green ones once you step up to the Expert difficulty...

Basically, you can use your thumb to help control the direction of the scratch while you just hold down the button with your finger, it's that easy.

Hope this helps

So do you mean basically holding the turntable? I don't know, I think I know what you are talking about but I'm not quite sure.

Put your thumb on the shiny dots while playing. Much easier to control the disk while moving it forwards and backwards quickly.

But then it feels like I have to move my whole arm rather than just my wrist. Is that better/normal?

It feels like that at first, but as you play your motions will become smaller. It really helps to use your thumb on many parts.

I strengthen my ring finger with my little finger on blue scratches. I'm using my whole arm when scratching, keeps you from going tired

Actually what I do instead of keeping my thumb on the side of the turntable I keep it on the turntable platter. I find it helps more than keeping it on the side but the downside is im developing a callous from it so it feels kinda irritating after awhile, but still not bad enough to have to stop playing even after a few hours.

I made a video of me scratching, but it's on my other computer (I'm at work right now). It just feels weird to move my whole arm.

Well it might be a little late to be posting here, but have you tried using your middle finger for the blue scratches? I use my index for green scratches, alternate my index and middle for the red button (depending on the situation), and use my middle finger for blue scratches... I only use my ring finger on the blue if absolutely necessary ^_^.
