Wow, if I post a path for this song, it's the last remaining "0" post songs for all levels in GH1 that aren't tripplette or graveyard shift. Not that all of them have pathes posted, I never checked. One of these days I'll get around to counting notes in expert mode. One of these days.

D'oh deleted my chart. double D'oh, I gotta go. Hope the mods aren't pissed but it'll have to wait 'til another time when I can rechart, or someone beat me to it. later

I still don't understand why you don't just add up point totals instead of counting notes. It's a lot more accurate to do it that way.

short and sweet

2-3-2-2-2

most are next note

notes = points = notes = points
CD not sure what you mean, you made that comment before. I don't count every note of every activation only to decide between spots that look close in points. But if one activation box has 35 notes including holds and another has 38, I go with the 38 (duh). How is counting points quicker than just a number of notes? It seems a little six of one, half dozen of the other. So I'm curious, more details please. In the example above should i count to 140000 points (35 x 400)? For holds of lengthes of portions of beats, I just count them as a decimal point of notes i.e. 1 beat of hold = 0.5 notes. Seems the same to me anyway, and I'm not good enough to squeeze/whammy (mostly whammies) etc to get #1 scores, to compare multiple pathes.

Oh. I thought that's what you were doing. In the case of holds, I usually look for the exact amount of points, though, since fractions aren't exact and when activation points are less than 50 points apart, you need to get down to that.
