Maybe I should be more specific with my examples, my apologies.
Y'know I didn't even know you could still check specific gun stats on Elite (I was guessing at <2), so I did, and I'm actually <1 with the 1887 LOL
I may take the time to grind range/damage proficiencies and see if they make a difference, because there's nothing I'd love to do more than go back to MW2 mode laying the smackdown with shotguns. _________________

I just got one-shotted by both a Striker and Model 1887 up close, with full health. Can it be!? :O _________________

Striker seems to be by far the best shotgun. They keep releasing patches without putting out all the information about what they did so hard to keep track of what tweaks they have made to the guns.
Also they need to nerf the FMG9 akimbo, secondary should not be so good that it can be used as a primary when a lot of the others are useless. |

Well, I'm doing a bit better with the Striker now. Got two Osprey Gunners in a row, and consistently getting at least one Escort per game when running support. I still can't help but feel like I should just be using an SMG, but it's sorta fun doing this.
On the subject of stats, some kid just dashboarded after I shat on him all game, then when I called him on it he said that "he didn't want a loss for no reason because his team was awful". Last time I checked, winning or losing was down to the entire team (well, in 9v9 at least). He went 25-33 and his team was 185-199 down when he dashboarded. Not quite the paragon of team player... _________________

Unsurprisingly, the Perks are rather easy to get pro. Just about to hit level 70 and I only need to get Marksman pro. Given that I've only been actively trying to get the perks pro for the past twenty levels or so, I want to say it might actually be easier than it was in Modern Warfare 2. Either way, it seems as if the pro variants of the perks are actually much more relevant and useful than they were in the previous Modern Warfare game. I really think they actually gave some thought into what tier they put all of the perks into as well.
Also, the campaign looks like it's going to have some really tough moments on Veteran. Something I'm not looking forward to, but it'll be a while before I get to it, so I'm not really complaining yet.
Oh yeah, people should stop calling this game "Modern Warfare 2.5". Honestly, when you make a (shitty) statement like that, you're implying that every Call of Duty game is vastly different, which certainly isn't the case. Also, I am willing to bet that the people in the majority are the people who wanted basically "Modern Warfare 2, but fixed". I have heard so many people say that exact thing. _________________

Funny thing is, Modern Warfare 2.5 just rounds up to be Modern Warfare 3. :P _________________

It's more like Black Ops 1.5 than anything else but yeah I agree. Not that I've heard anyone call it MW2.5 since last week. _________________

Sadly, it's incredibly easy. I think I was stuck for a total of 15 minutes, and that was on the final level; everything else was a breeze. So long as you know all the usual COD veteran mechanics (keep moving forward to stop enemy respawn, pop in/out of cover and use aim assist to your advantage) then you won't have any trouble at all. They also did away with infinite grenade bombardments, so you can stay behind the same bit of cover until you want to move up. _________________

I actually care about my KD a little bit. Not enough to dashboard out of games or camp in corners though. Not even enough to stress on it. I just think it's fun to pay attention to and track over time.. But then again I have fun tracking all my stats aside from KD. Stats are fun to me haha
I don't care if my stats are good or bad... but without them being there this game wouldn't be nearly as fun for me. Although it seems like the leaderboards have fucked up for me =(, which sucks because I enjoyed paying attention to those too. Somehow it thinks I went from averaging 16 kills a game to 300-something _________________

It does that after you prestige. For some insane reason it divides your total kills by the number of games in your current prestige, thus giving you an extremely high number for average kills
re: campaign, it's extremely easy on Vet, almost as easy as MW2. It's also quite short. Story continuation is good though and the ending is satisfying. _________________

Well, apparently the CM901 can ACTUALLY be good. I myself hate the CM with a passion just cause it shoots so damn slow. But apparently, with noobtoob or masterkey on, its fire rate goes from 666 to 750. That'll be fun to mess around with tommorow _________________

Honestly, while the YouTube people that point out these flaws help get them patched faster, they instantly shoot up in use up until it gets patched (unfortunately, the patching part doesn't always happen). _________________

Thankfully, IW is doing something for once. The PC just got a patch to address the stealth bomber exploit.
They also have a bunch more patches set up to address stuff like laggy games, stat loss prevention, etc. ETA is Thanksgiving.
And finally, they will be making a list of patches and it's contents soon enough. Apparently, when they get enough patches in. I'm gonna assume that means a few days after Thanksgiving. _________________

Extended Mags on Shotguns also gives buckshots a 50% increase in pellets.
So, I've been exploiting this a bit:
Striker Extended Mags and Damage Proficiency
Strela-3
Semtex/Claymore
Flash Grenades
Extreme Conditioning Pro
Assassin Pro (yes, I know)
Steady Aim Pro
Specialist Perks:
- Sleight of Hand Pro
- Hardline Pro
- Dead Silence Pro
Juiced
---
Since every Proficiency is earned at the Specialist Bonus, save Damage, I chose Damage for my proficiency. Range + Damage + 50% pellet increase due to Ext. Mags, and you'll be amazed at what distance you can obtain one-hit kills. _________________
