Guitar Hero 3 and Guitar Hero: Aerosmith Customs Info

I've posted once on here maybe you guys didn't see it or whatever, but can someone help me create custom songs on gh3 for xbox 360? Is it easier to do it on the guitar heros? I have most of them besides 80's, the original, and aerosmith. I'm new to this and just wanted to get a few songs. Can someone explain to me or give me a link that will explain how to do it in simple terms? Thanks in advance
