I knew Sieg was hard to beat (Or at least he is with Ivy) but wtf happened there?
Personally I have a lot of trouble dealing with Sieg, Nightmare and Astaroth.
Even though I not comfortable calling tiers just yet but I think Natsu, Cervantes and Sieg will end TT. _________________

Yeah imagine you had picked up Marvel 3 for the first time then 2 hours later were told to fight Justin Wong on stream. ;_;
Edit: as far as my experiences go nightmare is much more of a bitch to deal with than siegfried, but maybe the small amount of siegs ive fought have all just been really bad (they sure do like their B's) _________________

Hey guys. I'm not that great at fighting games, but I've always liked Soul Calibur. I rented SC5 from a local Red Box for a couple days, and I do like it. Seems pretty fast-paced compared to the last game. I tend to struggle against B-level AIs (A-level is ridiculous. ) sometimes though. Anyone have any tips for getting better at the game overall? I'm thinking of picking the game up sometime instead of renting it, and I don't want to keep getting destroyed when I go to try XBL lol.
My main is Nightmare and I play a bit of Voldo. Though I am liking Ezio too. _________________

A good way to get better is to take it online. There are some rooms in the Player Match mode that are advertised as Beginner's Only, and in the other mode, Global Colosseo, you can check a person's record before challenging to fight them. So you're likely to find someone at your skill level. The game is just over a week old too so a lot of players are still learning the game.
Playing AI does help to an extent, but you can never really condition the AI.
I also main Nightmare, though I'm still getting used to the changes in the transition from IV to V, I pretty much know him inside and out, so if you've got any character specific questions I can answer them. |
