I'll join. I don't have this FC, and I could possibly get it, so why not give it a shot?
This song isn't really high in my priority list though. no I don't really have a list _________________

While I do hate to bump a most likely dead rivalry, I think that Undead's -14 deserves some praise.
Hope to see an EFFCEE from someone soon! |

Thanks!!
Some people might think that the TTFAF in GHSH is only FC'd once because - and only because - of the lack of interest of everybody in that chart, but this is not true. The song is hard as fuck, I wouldn't say harder than the one in GH3 but it has sooooooo many chokable spots, and purple notes are everywhere. You need to strum some, take care of not overfretting, etc.
I'm not sure if I'm gonna FC it soon, but we'll see; Shred To Glory B real run FC was a total fluke, I didn't even get it in practice mode after several minutes. I can hit Chorus 3A all the time with my new method, so this one won't be a problem I guess. The other parts I'm struggling with are the strumming sections, but I'm working with them a lot and I believe I will be able to pull them off all in the same run.
Is anybody else any close to getting it? _________________

WHAT IS SO BAD ABOUT PURPLE NOTES?
I would have thought that they would earn respect from top players, because you can miss one single purple note and FC the rest without having to strum, by which time you would have missed at least another 5 or so.
Sure, they were broken in WT, but I though they had been fixed?
Why does everyone hate them so much? |

I'll join, I have a technical FC, but FC is like 1 in a bajillion. I have a (Horrible) video on my YT with a random one-handed Chorus 3A FC, but the rest of the run was horrible, I am never good in full runs of songs, but hey, I could easily get atleast 850k on a good run. This will be my new motive to play the game again other than making customs. |

Because of the fact that you can accidentally hit any note that is within the timing window and skip notes that way. No, they were not fixed in WT. HOPOs in general were fixed, but purple notes are easier just because all HOPOs are easier.

Glad to see some competition in this lonely rivalry. _________________

By that logic, couldn't you also "accidentally skip" HOPOs as well? Don't they have the same timing window between the two of them?
Besides, I never had that happen to me with purple notes, the only time I miss in a purple section is when I couldn't hit it regardless.

Yes they do have, but you'd need to strum them to skip them, lol. With purple notes you don't have to strum at all even if you break combo. _________________

Well with every game featuring purple notes, I strum through most HOPO solos like you would in GH1. The fact that the HOPO timing window has become so tight disallows me to fluke my way through HOPO solos. The zig in Cyanide comes to mind. I have yet to hit that on the WT or M engine. But in GH3, I always hit it. |

I know this is a 3-year-old necro, but I'm bumping this because both myself and FingerQuick are pretty close and will put maximum effort in the next days to finally put an end to this rivalry. Good luck, man.
EDIT: Yay, I won! _________________
