So, I got GH3 for my PC a while ago, and I've been having a few problems. The first was framerate issues and fretboard stuttering; I messed around with my Nvidia control panel's Vsync setting and that fixed that. So now, the game runs perfectly smoothly, everything maxed out, 60fps, etc... However, I have a new (and quite more annoying) problem: when I try to record GH3 with Fraps, it makes notes extremely hard to hit. The game isn't lagging or anything; it seems like Fraps is making the timing window incredibly tight, or perhaps it's screwing up the calibration or something. Regardless, this is really quite annoying, as I was planning to record quite a bit of GH3 - the whole Career mode if everything went well, as well as any FCs I might happen to get.
I've also got a video of the issue.
Any suggestions? I'm going to try screwing with the video calibration after posting this.
Edit: I tried adjusting the video calibration... It helped very slightly, hitting notes was still quite difficult though.
Edit2: I tried recording again, just for the heck of it... the problem is suddenly gone. Odd. Not that I'm complaining, but that's a bit weird... |
