Not a problem, just do it sometime...I have a webfront for FTP to make it easier, here.
AND...I have great news, the mystery has been solved. The compression algorithm on the QGM files is standard LZ 0x10 compression, but it has to ignore the first 8 bytes, which is probably why no one was able to figure out what type it is. The guys over at GBATemp helped me out tons. I will run this tonight and get the files over to ajanata to make chart images for GHOTD, GHOTMH, and BH.
With that said, and the compression method known...customs should be possible since there is no GOBing needed on GHOTD and the DS games after.
I just have one thing to ask...WHO WANTS SOME CUSTOMS!!?? |

I don't think there are enough people paying attention to this thread due to its name...I'm going to make another thread with more of a customs favor to it...since extraction is pretty much complete, I just have to explain how I did it and hopefully get one of the mods to edit the OP to include it.

I know this is over 6 years old but none of the links are working anymore. I could locate most of them but - GHOTChartConvert.exe is a no-go. cant find it anywhere. does anyone still have it ?

big thanks. btw, is there intention to put charts for the European exclusive ? this is why im looking for this .exe but im going on a venture in the unknown. following this guide is one thing, but converting them in charts is probably another thing, I guess.
EDIT: I did extract the 5 songs, so if you need the files (which btw ?) to convert them, lemme know.
EDIT 2: wow. must be me but I figured it out haha ! i'll need to double check if everything is ok. once done, i'll send you a link to download 'em.

I'm not sure which files you would be giving to me. Did you somehow get them to a .png chart image? If so, sure, you can upload it to my FTP, create a folder for your name.

yeah a .png file. i cant unfortunately verify them at the moment. I dont have the game yet and the only people who could verify this would be zlink or spoonman, which both are inactive users. do you still want them even if unverified ? I created a rar to speed things up.
