copying data from expert to easy in DB

iv edited a expert song so only the first 3 notes show but how do i copy it to the easy section. I cant seem to do it?

any ideas?

-While viewing the expert chart, hold down shift and press the up arrow key to highlight the notes you want to copy
-Press ctrl+c to copy the notes
-Press SHIFT+F1 to switch to the easy track
-Press ctrl+v to paste the notes
-Press shift+F4 to go back to the expert track

For some reason the difficulty changing is only working for me with the left shift key and not the right, which may or may not be your problem.

Actually there is a function designed for copying not only notes, but also star power, sections, events, etc. When you are in Expert, press Tab, select Copy track data and set Target track to your chosen difficulty. You can also choose what do you want to copy (notes only, events, events and notes, etc.)

When I've duplicated charts between difficulties, I actually loaded the .chart file into a text editor and copypasted everything under ExpertSingle to everything (creating .ini sections as necessary).
