Those are Open Notes, and not supported yet in dB. | Aren't Open Notes the purple notes in bass in WT? I think he's referring to HOPOs (I answered him in another thread). |
Indeed, he seems to be doing just that. _________________

I don't understand anything about anchors... at all.. I've read several guides, they don't tell anything I want to know...
How am I supposed to create an anchor in time with notes I haven't even placed yet? How am I supposed to find the anchor time ? I just don't get at all how it works... |

OK, both of those things are explained explicitly in the guide. The former involves using an average BPM before making an educated guess at a time then correcting and perfecting it later, the latter was given an ENTIRE SECTION dedicated to learning/using Audacity.
So just... Read. Seriously. _________________

I downloaded my charts but I don't know how to sync them. Any help here? My mp3 is starting at the very beginning and it shouldn't start until a little later. I don't want to edit my mp3 files either. _________________

Please do not post the same question in multiple places. It's just clutter. _________________

Hi, I have Feedback in French and I don't know which option to choose as "Copy Track Data". I hit Tab, it opens the quick menu, but after that I don't know what to choose. _________________

M-m-mega bump for a pretty sizable update. The second post, which I've been reserving since the dawn of time, has been updated with a small addendum tutorial: Using FeedBack to Create Charts for Rock Band and Rock Band 2.
It covers Rock Band drum tracks in FeedBack, and how the chart creation process differs from what is described in the normal FeedBack guide when creating RB charts instead of GH charts. Essentially, it covers everything you can do in FeedBack to create/prepare your RB chart before you take it into a midi editor like Reaper or Anvil.
Make use of it. Go forth and create awesome Rock Band customs - we've got lots of great charts already, but not an abundance of charters! _________________

Feedback has been crashing for me when i play certain song charts that were previously made by someone else. i was trying to edit some of the HOPOs in Technical Difficulties by Racer x but the thing crashes when i scroll the chart to far. it doesnt even get to the actual visual notes before doing so. im new at these sort of customs, is this a problem with Feedback, the chart file, or both?
i know this is an old thread but im holding out hope |

This is typical when trying to open .chart files in Feedback when they'd been externally edited to include forced HOPO notation:

I have no idea if anyone checks these forums anymore and I didn't want to start a whole new thread for a simple question. I downloaded a chart someone else made, found the mp3 online for it. the song is the correct song, however, the music starts playing but the notes on the chart don't start until a few seconds later so the entire track is all of course I am trying to figure out how to sync it back up using feedback but I have no clue how to do this. Help please. |
