Guitar Hero Wont Start?

After downloading GH3 (100% legally of course...) and installing all of the patches and custom tracks the download came with, when i double click the icon to start it, nothing happens. There isn't even a process that shows up in Task Manager. I've tried restarting my pc, but that didn't help. Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks.

I wasn't aware that there was a legal way to download GH3.
