Does anyone know what kind of switch I need to buy if I'm looking to fix an overstrumming GH5tar? I followed one of the guides on here for the World Tour guitar and when I got my GH5tar all taken apart, the switches were not the same. I used the switch that I bought to repair an old World Tour guitar but after some testing, it's definitely not getting full whammy and trying to squeeze with it is pointless. I would love to just repair the GH5tar but I haven't been able to find much info about that particular guitar.

Please help! Thanks in advance.

I know the WoRtar uses the same switches. I opened mine up yesterday but didnt need to touch the switches. they're a diffferent style for sure, never seen these before.

It's a standard Alps switch.

There's a guide on the RB side - You need to put a piece of tape on the white plastic part of the switch. I did it with my GH5tar and it's been working fine ever since.

Here's the guide you need: http://www.scorehero.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=57939
