What I do is use my index and middle, and vibrate. It actually helps a lot but I don't know if it will work for you. |

I do something similar but I barely get enough speed. I guess I should just practice more and work out (lol yeah right) _________________

There is a speed strumming trick I learned when messing around with my SG guitar one time. The strum bar is much looser, so it works on that as opposed to my LP. So it'll be guitar-dependent.
Take either your index or middle finger, place the tip on the point of the strum bar. Not the corners, but just in the middle somewhere, on the point where it is thinnest. Vibrate.
Doing this allows me to reach speeds near my Dpadding speed (Assuming you know my highest speed reached), but again is very dependent on the guitar's strum bar. It minimizes the amount of arm movement needed, making ridiculous speeds on standard strumming possible. _________________

Something like this? | Very similar, yes. Except I use my finger tip by itself instead of my whole finger. The point of it is to pretty much mimic my exact Dpad movement but on the strum bar. My arm isn't really parallel to the strum bar like normal strumming. It's at like, an angle less than 45 degrees like when I Dpad. I may make a video on it if it's too difficult to describe it. _________________

tbh for me just playing customs that has a lot of strumming helps me, although to be fair I mostly play pre GH3 stuff so I never have need to learn how to strum 20+nps
actually, just ignore me xD _________________

Here are my tips. I've never hit 2A, so take it for what it's worth. I believe I achieve the speed, but am missing due to the fret changes.
--Don't move the strummer through it's full range of motion (all the way up or all the way down). Ideally, you want to move it the minimum amount you need for a strum to register. This reduces the distance you have to move the strummer, and therefore increases the speed at which you can strum.
--Strum from the elbow, keeping the forearm + wrist straight.
--Assume the position! You don't want to just be sitting or standing casually with the guitar flopping around. Rest the guitar on your leg or against your body and hold it firmly in place. You don't want it moving around as you vibrate the strummer. Imagine the strummer is attached to a building, that's what you want it to feel like.
--Start strumming the section as early as possible, this gives you a jump on the timing window and slightly reduces the NPS you have to strum to avoid missing.
--Concentrate on the fret changes and leave the strumming up to lady luck.
Although I've never FCed 2A, I've gotten some pretty amazing combos on it this way. _________________

I got one tip that many people forget (or don't know), there's a speedup when the double strums start (from 21 to 23 I believe). Starting the strumming early to bypass the speedup by keeping the same speed through the whole thing work but if you're able to do the speedup it should help with the fretting. _________________

My method for the outro is 2 YBO zigs, one RYB and 3 GRY with a speed up at the end cuz they aren't zigzags lol _________________

I pretty much haven't hit 2A in about a year but I've had a lot of decent combos lately during runs, so it's a good start I guess. FC soon?
I swear I'm going to smash my guitar and never play GH again once I FC this shit. _________________
