GH3 on pc freezes about every 10 seconds with VSync off

The problem occurs when I have disabled VSync. It worked fine for like a month ago, then I had a break and now when I try to play the game it freezes for like 1/2 second every 10 seconds.

Specs:
GTX 970
Intel core i7 4790
8GB DDR3

Windows 10

All the drivers are up to date, mabey the new drivers are the problem? Does anyone else have this problem?
