Title. It occurs at random times that the guitar falls almost a second late and it gradually catches up. Anyone also have that problem and know how to fix it? I play on Wii U.

I honestly thought it was only me and my monitor was trash. Turns out, this game is dog shit, I'm actually considering returning it

This isn't good to hear as someone who wants the Wii U version. Any sort of lag is unforgivable in a rhythm game.

ive been plaing on Xbox One all morning. While I don't have the perfect setup, (what audio input should I select for headphones?) I haven't noticed any lag on the gameplay side as far as the fretboard slowing or speeding due to fps dropping.

Playing on Wii U and haven't had this happen. I believe I'm level 9 on GHTV.

Maybe it's something in the guitar because someone connected it to Rock Band 4 and it does the same thing.

There has been multiple times that it seems like my guitar seems to "miss" for no reason, maybe it is the guitar's fault.

That could be likely, it wouldn't be the first time people have gotten bad guitars. I believe I had a problem with GH3 and I think a World Tour full band set that required me to take it back to the store and get a new one.

Last night mine started randomly crapping out to the point where I couldn't even get 2 notes in a row.. Thought it was calibration problem but I eventually went into the pause menu (and later into the quickplay song list) and sure enough my guitar is double strumming when I strum down sometimes.

I haven't had a single problem in GHTV though, only with the actual setlist songs in the GHLive mode. I've had that "double strum" issue in menus too but I believe it's more something caused by lag than anything. Maybe the system just can't cope with the "real time" music video concept.

Having the exact same problem on XBO. And I also noticed that sometimes when the game throws these tantrums, it doesn't even register the note when I strum, and I know i'm hitting it. I could be on a 200 note streak and suddenly my guitar essentially defecates itself and I get all these undeserved anxiety-inducing mean looks from my bandmates

Rarely can I get through a song without this happening. Usually happens about twice in a song and it's extremely frustrating. I hope it's a fixable problem, if not it's really a shame because I know I'd have a lot of fun with this game if it weren't for this

I have this too, it's definitely the guitar itself overstrumming. For me it happens mostly in GHTV, but only when I down strum. When I upstrum there are no issues at all! Now I need to find a way to return my brand new not even a day old guitar hero to Best Buy because the damn thing is broken
