I have a wireless ps3 controller, it works and all but when I move the whammy up and down it doesn't register any button. Is there a certain way to do it?

I know there's a thing to get it to work for PS2 controllers, some combo like Select + Start + Down (strum down in this case). I'm not sure if it'd work for PS3 controllers but you never know, other than that I'm not too sure.

I actually figured it out, whammy is registered as a joystick so you have to register as one
