Hey guys,

I recently started charting custom songs for Guitar Hero III with the FeedBack chart editor.

The tutorial posted in this forum tells me that HOPOs are generated by the engine of the game, but I saw many many videos on YouTube which showed me that there actually has to be a way to control the positioning of HOPOs by yourself WITHOUT even tricking around with the time signature . (e.g. check out the channel ChezyGH3).

I tried to contact these people who got the trick, but I never got an answer.
Does someone of you know a way to place HOPOs WHERE YOU WANT THEM?

Additionaly, can someone of you tell me how to do a HOPO after a sustain note?

Help would be great, anyways, have a good one :)

Greetings,

If you're using feedback, you can put an event on the note you want to force on or off (depending on what it is to begin with). I use a "*" but you can use anything really.

Once you've finished your chart, simply open it up in notepad (or similar) and do a replace all on the event you placed.

So if you used a "*" like I do, simply do the following

Find: E *
Replace: N 5 0

This only works GH3 onwards.
