I downloaded the program and when i try to change the audio track (I'm using a MP3 file) , a message shows:

file is not a suported file type

and if i try to keep the original song, the metronome creation shows a error...

Can someone help me?

If I try to put a song in place of Misirlou the bass audio doesn't show up, any help? Sorry if something like this has already been asked. Not sure if opening GHex afterwards does anything to affect it.

To all the people who are getting the "Unsupported file type" message, just use Audacity to convert your song to a wav. If you have a lot of songs, google "switch sound converter" to find a freeware batch conversion program.

In case anyone is still interested, I just posted the full source code for Guitar Wizard over on my website (see http://jimhalliday.net/guitarwizard). This code has been untouched for several years, but there's a lot of useful Java code there for those things like DTB decoding/encoding, VGS file reading, ARK reading/writing, MIDI parsing, etc. Enjoy!

is their some way that i could disable the guitar clik thing cause i dont use it and i probally wont ever use it, and it takes like 15 to 20 minutes to replace a song. (not trying to be a buthole)

but thanks for the really awesome program, lots more simple than ghex and has lots of cool features so you dont have to go into gh2ne

somebody reply about the disabling cliks idea

Sorry to bump this thread, but I presume you aren't allowed to make separate lead and coop tracks through GWiz, right?
