Here is the one i use on Hard. It held first place for awhile. I am not very good at squeezing, so I am sure my score could be better.
Sections in Red I don't whammy. Looking over it now, you can whammy the section I have here in red...but you'll have to activate the star power during the green hold in the next star section. This will actually net you more points.

First activation lasts five measures, starting a chord instead of a single note is better. With really early whammying, you can make it from one of the single notes before the chord to a chord (I've only ever done it once).
Move back the sixth activation one beat (the YBY) to pick up an extra note.
Move the last activation forward a beat and a half (red sustain) to pick up an extra note. _________________
