Seeing as I am currently only down 76 points from the #1 score, I am pretty confident this is a good SP strategy for this song..
Rabies - Farewell Myth Hard Strategy
Red areas = No Whammy (except where noted otherwise) |

Is it possible to get an SP activation off the third star group alone? Could I activate off the first two in the interlude, and then get to 50% using just the one at the very end? I seem to be coming up just shy, but I'm not really good at getting extra whammy time from stretching the note early. The note chart seems to have the note played across 7 beats, albeit 5 of steady time from when the note starts. Isn't 5 enough, though?
If I could get an activation off that note, it would completely change the dynamics of my SP path. |

You need 7.5 to do it. Therefore, I believe it's not possible. _________________

I got the same consensus when I added my noobishness to the expert thread, assuming I'd get a faster response there. (And I did, but getting one from the guy holding the #1 spot is at least as meaningful, because it says the best score doesn't do that.) |

Here's the right path to follow. I have no idea how close to optimal it is, as the only activation with room to get extra ticks under SP is the first, but as reference, I had 199395 at the break between measures 123 and 125. I think I came out of the first activation with my score ending in 07, I can't quite remember. _________________

What did you do, Samson? I just spent 20 minutes looking over my path, and can't find anything to improve upon, I don't see where you could have found another note. _________________
