Alright, I figured I'd add in the SP path since I've tried futilely to squeeze more points from this and I just can't seem to do it, so maybe someone else can brush up this a bit. So far, there seem to be three possible paths, one taking 9/11 SPs, one using 10/11 (the one I use), and another using 10/11. So far, the 10/11 has produced the best for me.

SP #1: Whammy at least the two long notes to get the 50%. Activate right at the end of the next long yellow. This should end right in the middle of the chorus.

SP #2, 3: Grab each one, whammying the long chords on SP #3, activate also right after the next long yellow note, before the YYBYR. Again, it should end in the chorus part, on the note before SP#4

SP #4, 5, 6: Grab these three and hold them. After the second paused parts, activate them right at the start of the YB chords. This will cause you to miss SP #7, but this part has the most points you can gain. You'll end back in the main riff.

SP #8, 9, (10): Okay, here seem to be the three possible methods-
*The 9 SP one would ideally activate right at the start of SP #9 after whammying 8 and 9, which carries you through it's notes and the main riff that follows.
*The 10/11 path has you whammy the 8 and 9 chords and pick up 10, activating it immediately. This will carry you through two sections of the main riff and 3 long chords, ending on the 4th.
*For the alternate 10/11 path, do not whammy 8 and 9, and activate SP almost immediately after you hit 8 (while still holding the chord). It will end just in time for you to pick up SP:10

SP#(10), 11:
*For the first two paths, whammy the 3 SP chords and you should get SP right before the outro solo. After the solo (the RRYBBY), activate it on the green note and it should carry you through all the chords at the end.
*For the alternate, if you picked up #10, then whammy #11 and activate it during the first BBY of the outro solo. It should carry you all the way to the end.

The reason I listed all three is because honestly, the results are so close together that I can't figure out which is ideal. The alternate path seems to be a little weaker than the other two (by maybe 700-800 pts), but the first two are almost deadlocked. Testing each, I managed to consistantly hit between 143,400 and 143,950 for 6 runs straight.

Edit: Ironically, I just did another test run and best the 1st place score by about 150 points. >_> Come get me if you can squeeze more out.

Or in short:

1 - 2 - 3 - 3- 1 (all whammied) is my preferred path.

Here's mine. Interestingly, it's somewhat different from the ones used by RiseOfAsh, but seems to score about the same. Ash, perhaps you can score even more by altering the first half of the song to resemble this??

SP#1 - Activate just as the next star power begins.

SP#2 (Skip)

SP#3, SP#4 - DON'T WHAMMY; activate on the next note
SP#5, SP#6 - Activate just as repeated chords begin.

SP#7 (Skip)

SP#8, SP#9, SP#10 - Activate immediately

SP#11 - Activate two notes before chords begin (so that SP ends as song ends).

Hmmm I think your strat is actually better, Ash. I managed 144,899 just now with it. I just tweaked the beginning and ending points in a few places, and managed to get in a squeeze or two.

Ok so the key from my lame strat. is to sp through #7 for the points.

Ashes description got confusing after he skips sp #7 and then said to whammy 7 and 8, which I assume is 2p 8 and sp 9. Is that right?

Looks like I got about 5 different ways to try this, thanks for the info

Surprisingly, this is actually better than our old 1-2-3-3-1, even though it skips 2 more sp phrases, by around 350-400 points.

I'll try that out. Although I will probably end up using 1-2-3-3-1 because I am horrible at memorizing paths
