So, what's the secret here? This song has so many SP phrases it's hard to find the optimum path. I tried a few different combinations but I'm still short of the top spot by about 3000 points. |

Pretty sure this is what I used (got the beginning part from MetalMadness' GH1 post, but figured the rest out myself):
2 - activate on 2nd G
2 - no whammy, activate immediately after last SP note struck
(this second activation is really tough!)
then 2, 3, 2, 3, 2
I'll let you play with the later activations, then we can try to close the gap towards Cdw01's top GH1 score (there are 1700 points on the board, probably some tough squeezes). _________________

For GH1, the optimal path I found that could actually be used was 2-2-2-3-2-2-3. However, for GH2, there isn't any delay between hitting the 2nd sp and being able to activate, making the immediate 2's from before much easier, as well as opening up the true optimal path: 2-2-2-2-2-2-2-3. _________________

I must have tried getting the activation from the last SP note in measure 43 about 20 times but could never get the SP to finish early enough to catch the SP phrase in measure 46. I even contemplated learning to use the back button (very hard to use on the 360 controller). Is this SP activation even possible?
OTOH, I never did try 2-2 right at the start. Paths I narrowed down where 333223 and 2332223. |

I think it's possible because there are exactly 4 measures between SP phrases (and also because Cdw01 says so). You will need to hit the last note early and immediately activate.
The second activation has a half beat of extra space to work with and I can definitely hit that consistently (I do use the back button for this, not tilt). I won't be able to try it this weekend though as I'll be away. Good luck! _________________
