I don't know of any way to get it consistently... but i can get it about 1/2 the time if i strum every note. I use index and middle finger instead of middle and ring for the Y and B though... Hope that helps...

If I HOPO, I can hit it pretty consistently, it's just getting used to the rhythm in which you have to hit the notes that's difficult.

I just FC'd this last night, and I needed to replay it some 10 times to hit the guitar fills. (All were missing 1 note.) The strategy that eventually worked for me was, "Downstrum as fast as you can and hope to hit the notes."

I think I got lucky.

this song is a funny one to listen to, especially when some1 plays it at a party cuz their noob, and i get to sing along: "mommy's all right, daddy's all right, they just seem a little weird" ahh good times

as for the paths, this is one of 4 songs i dont care to find the right path: HSB, Red Lottery and Yes We Can..that is, until TODAY!!! (except for Red Lottery, its so dumb)
