69,000 absolutely is possible. I have had the setup going into the last stretch to accomplish this a half a dozen times, but as of yet haven't waited long enough on the last activation to hit the number. (I have hit 68,996 every time.)

What SP path are you using to accomplish this? I can't even get over 68,000.

And in your last post you said that a note is about 1/30th of a beat. I'm just guessing, but it's probably 1/32nd since that divides up evenly.

2 - use 4.5 beats after hold
2 - immediately before next notes or you won't get sp 5 (red hold)
1 - immediately squeeze 1st green note
2 - use 5.25 beat into red hold
2 - measure 70

after the end of activation 4 your score should end in 04, but I think 08 is required in order to get 69,000

Thanks, I tried another way last night and got 68160, but it's still about 40th

It's possible since I've got 68800 and I've missed the squeeze after the 4th (I have to do it optimal too )

I know that 69000 is achievable in theory, but has anybody actually been able to wait long enough after the last note to get those 4 extra points? I have tried that activation over 100 times (I didn't necessarily get there with all the points every time but it was just to practice) and never have I ever waited long enough before activating and still been able to hit the note.

Has anybody done this, or should we honestly just write the 4 points off?

It's possible, but you literally would need perfect last two activations. Even debr's upper bound path on his site has 69k listed as the theoretical optimal score. (granted his program isn't always perfect)

Well, over my attempts, it's been hard enough for me even to land on 41112 after activating in the middle of the red Star Power hold, let alone squeeze that last green note afterwards.

Even doing that, though, I have never been able to activate the last Star Power late enough after the green note to get the extra points on the final hold while being able to hit that green note at the same time.

I know the theory, but what I'm asking is if anybody has done it. If not, I doubt I'll be the one to break the mold, and I'll settle with 68996, which is a hard enough score to achieve in its own right.

I'm just surprised. I got a score ending on 00 after ending the R hold on 08 (missing the G squeeze). So maybe debr program doesn't rounds correctly and 69004 is the true "optimal" or something?

Really? And you got the extra points using the green hold at the end? I'm having trouble getting the points debr listed, let alone more. But, if you've done it, then 69000 is possible.

That wouldn't surprise me much. This has occurred several times already.

When did debr optimize a path for this? Can you put up a link to his optimal path?
