Just noticed now when I was replaying this for the 1st place score, the note chart has Cochise spelt wrong at the top. It is missing the "e" at the end. _________________

I noticed that, as well. Also, "Cowboys From Hell" is missing the 2nd "o" in "Cowboys" (so it says "Cowbys"). _________________

I've just told the creator of the charts about the spelling errors, not sure if he'll fix them or not. _________________

Is that a spelling error in a post about spelling errors? |

I could get around 20th I think on this if I had whammied better. This is what I did.
(My max ~83.6K)
3 - Absolutely straight away. No room for error at all. No whammying that first note either!
3 - Straight away. Again needs to be pretty quick.
2 - Straight away.
3 - Straight away.
Those top people must do something totally different. I am wasting 1 star power (the 4th one I think) but I can't see how to avoid doing that and still get lots of notes under star power.
New idea - Gave me a top 10!
2, 4, 2, 3
I'll let you figure the exact timings. _________________

2 - Whammy the green. Use instantly.
4 - Wait till measure 25, activate on the 1st yellow note at the beginning of the measure. This skips a SP.
2 - Use at the green note right after the SP.
3 - Uses right after the SP, on the next yellow note. |

Almost correct, but the 4th activation is slightly early. The small difference between the top few is due to the ticks on the very last note. I'm not quite good enough to get this but it is DEFINITELY the way to get those last few points.
Instead of an immediate activation try the following instead:-
3 - Activate on the 4th Yellow as late as possible, but also you need to whammy every last drop out of SP11 (the red hold). This will then run out at the beginning of the yellow hold in measure 64 (very last note)and get those all elusive extra few ticks.
EDIT: Just realised I've been ninja'd with debr's recent publication of GH1 SP Paths which I've just found out about. Never mind, at least it confirms that I was right _________________
