Am I doin' this right?

Marginal increase to the score is still 5700 below so someone tweak my path please. I know one spot I can pick up about 800 points but I'm curious if it's just my technique that stinks and not the path.

I used the suggested medium path of 2-2-1-1-2-2-1-2 which should really be a 3 sp's at the end fro the 4 more notes.

Get 2 whammy away, use on the 5th R note
Get 2 whammy away, use it on the single G note of meas. 82, runs out right before SP 5.
Get 1, use it on the Y hold note of meas. 104
Get 1, don't whammy final hold, act. immediately
Get 2 whammy away, use it on the first chord
Get 2, use it (didn't get the squeeze -200)
Here's my goof
I used 1 and used it, where if I combined the last 3 I would pick up 4 more notes and a squeeze for 1000.

So.....I'll sit down and wait for my answer.

edit: 2nd act. - perfect whammy should get 6.86 measures of SP so start the sp during the G hold of meas. 81 about 1/2 beat before meas. 82.

4th act. whammy as much as needed to start sp asap after final star note and get all notes

You must have really screwed up something because 2-2-1-1-2-2-1-2 is the right path. Using 3 on the last activation is NOT better than 1-2 if you do it properly. This song has a lot of squeezes, but I think your problem is simply whammying if you're that far off. For example, on activation 4 you say to not whammy the last note, but if I go beyond the 4th green hold in measure 120 with whammying, I am guaranteed to overlap the next sp phrase when activating the instant I get sp, and I usually just stop after the 4th yellow to be safe, except I think I lost a couple ticks on the last note before the next sp doing that.

Song frustrates. I should have been more general there. I was only dive bombing say once per hold so I probably was able to whammy one or two more on the 4th act. Bottom line...you still need to hit all star notes before it kicks in right? So the most you can get there is act. right after the final star note to get that hold and then all the notes. Or can you get 1/2 meter before the final star note? That would explain some of the missing points.

And you're right the 1-2 ending is about two more notes.

That said........adding generous points for squeezes (not sure every act. has one) I should be able to get within 2000/2200 which still leaves 3500 on the table. Dang

No it's not possible to activate before hitting that last note of sp in that phrase. There are basically squeezes on every activation other than that. I actually missed 1 of them, hitting 6/7. :> 3 of them are fairly difficult, though. I don't really know what other advice to give because those activations are almost all perfect, too.

Yeah my short whammy technique is sub perfect. I tried a couple times being ultra aggressive (for me anyway) and I was always ahead on my score when I'd miss or double strum. Just got to put a good run together and I think I can get 2500 more, which puts me in my typical range. If only expert was this solvable for me.

On that one tricky 1 SP activation I think you ignore just the first two notes and it works out perfectly. Don't quote me on it but I think it works

For that one, the best thing to do is whammy through the 4th green note and activate immediately when you get sp. Got the squeeze I was missing plus another one that I didn't think was possible a couple days ago. I've gotten a lot better at squeezing as I've been going through medium. A lot of my scores on easy are probably not that hard to beat.

Just got in 3rd. All I can say is the 2nd and 3rd activation just need a good look at the chart. Another thing I was fooled by was the faster and faster going combo's. I used to use my SP on them but after a look on the chart, there was more than enough room to use it on the next part (which has a lot of chords).
