80s - S6 - PS2 - League AAA Week 1 Results (UPDATED)

I guess considering 1) I forgot about this until Saturday 2) I haven't really played 80s at all 3) I only played each song 2-3 times.....I'll be ok with 8th for the 1st week

16th in AAA1 huh.....man I'll actually have to squeeze a whole bunch to do better this week.

Every league I always move up one group yet end up in the lower ranks... first it was AA1, then AAA2, now AAA1....

It doesn't help that iamchris is just a beast at this game

I'm in AAA2, took me a while to find myself since I didn't see my name in the A or AA's and I chose not to look at the rankings assignments.

34th out of 40 leaves me room for improvement! Hey, Its my first league

So ANBGT is currently hammering my balls. Something tells me that that little bitchy section is going to give me a lot more hell than Wrathchild. And the first activation isn't that easy either.

I shouldn't really be saying this, but considering that everyone in AAA1 will kill me anyway, and you are in AAA2, I will.

When I am trying the first activation, I Strum the whammies slightly early, and position my hand so that every time I push down the whammy bar, my pinky simultaniously hits the select buttom, then whammy as fast as I can. It will activate literally as soon as you have SP, and will cut off just before the next phrase.

That's ingenius. What I was doing was using tilt sp, and since I play with a monstrous lag offset, there's a little pocket of time during which SP will activate. So I would tilt around the end of the GRB chord and hopefully the moment where I got the half-bar would be in that pocket, but your way probably works so much better. Thank you SOOOO much!
