Can someone give a detailed explanation of the spreadsheet?

I guess what I don't get, is that I could fill in the spreadsheet with anything... how do you verify that I actually did what I say I did?

edit: Nevermind, I read all the stickied notes reagarding this.. I'm glad that obviously false scores are just thrown out. It makes it a lot more fun... I know that my scores won't be near the top, but I like to know where I stand against real scores
