My thinking was that the guys in college can generally find some way of getting there - i mean, even if it's hopping onto a Greyhound bus or something - ideally, we should ALL be sponsored, but I think it would be very difficult for somebody like ES to convince his parents that he needs to get on a bus and travel out to California (or wherever) all by his lonesome, which is why I thought the under-18s needed it more. |

They need help persuading their parents, but I don't think most of them would need help monetarily. _________________

Well - it depends on the parents I guess. I think that's the problem there - as pseudo adults, we have the "ability" to make money somehow, whether it's selling our bodies to wealthy businessmen on Main Street (SO I'VE HEARD ), or slogging away at a full-time and/or part time job.
The younger guys only really have the option of hitting up the 'rents for money, and if that options fails, they're pretty much out of luck. |

I like the idea, but I don't think I could go farther than 100 miles to get to a tournament. Assuming I'm good enough to go, anyway. |
