i just finished my guitar, i think it turned out lovely.i can safely say that my two favorite pass times are my ps2 and my ganja, so that had an impact on how i wanted this paint job to turn out.
i cut the marijuana leaf stencils out of my guitar hero 2 box, using a box cutter(and a lot of time).
i decided not to paint the strum bar because i've read posts of people rubbing the paint off...
the only problem which is only semi-visable in the pics is that for some reason other paint reacted badly to krylon fusion.it kind of...cracked?
well anyways, on to the pics!!!

Great color scheme, can't say I'm a fan of the MJ though...

it would probably be a tad stereotypical, but I'd do some rasta-colors mon! Like a green body with a red pick guard and yellow buttons. Then you could outline the leaf on the body. That's what I would do. Sans the leaf. Drugs are for suckas! All I needs is my plastic guitar, and I'm good to go.

It looks like the paint was still wet when you took the pic. Nice color scheme, and if MJ is what you want, go right ahead.

no, i had left the paint to dry for 24 hours before i put it together and took this pic. that's what i mentioned about the cracking... it's weird and i'd like to blame krylon fusion

Maybe you were high when you painted it and perhaps that is to blame for the cracking? lol Gotta love MJ :-) Nice job man

Hmm, by the looks of it, it seems that you painted your guitar in a damp or humid area. Where did you paint it at? Nice job though.

LMAO

epic guitar, but the white strum bar threw me off.

EDIT: Did you just use painter's tape for the frets?

in my living is where i spray painted it... it was too cold outside, i didn't think the paint would adhere.

i read posts of people ahving trouble with painted strum bars so i didn't bother.
as for the frets, i sprayed the spray paint on a paper plate and painted them
