The first activation is really tough, but here's a wag at a path: 2-2-2-3(S1)

2: IMMEDIATE
2: Next Note
2: Next Note
3: 1st Y Note (Overrides SP#10)

This is the exact same path as Sully's except for the last activation where you activate onthe next note. I hope you don't mnd me posting this Sully, if you do, I'll take it down immediately but:

Sully's Ruby Path - Hard

I must have made that with an old chart, because I didn't have near that much whammy possible. Sully's is showing him getting a full 8 measures of SP out of the last activation...I'll have to play around with it, but I don't remember getting that much. Could just be the flaky whammy, though.

I don't see any way to get 8m out of the last activation...by my math it is just under 7.2m for SP phrases 7-9.

SP phrases, no holds counted: 2 + 2 + 2 = 6
Holds counted: 2.49 + 1.75 + 0.75 + 0.75 + 0.5 = 6.24

SP phrases and holds: 6 + 6.24 = 12.14 measures of star power (well 8 really, and 1 beat...)

You're counting the holds wrong.

For example:

The .75SP doesn't signify .75 measures worth of Star Power, but rather .75 beats of Star Power whammy. (This next part is what I do, others may do it differently) You then multiply this by the whammy/measure ratio which is .26666666... to find the number of measures of SP. In this case, you have 6.24 SP whammy beats. Multiply by .26666666... and you get 1.6639, or about 1 and two-thirds measures; add 6 measures for getting 3 phrases and you have approximately 7.66 measures under Star Power.

HOWEVER. This path of Sully's is from an old debr chart, which incorrectly lists SP whammy beats. You'd have to look at his updated Ruby chart to see the correct values. I'd say them here, but for some reason his site isn't loading for me.

No, Sully's path isn't optimal.

I just made my own path, and it's ranked 4th right now, and I can't squeeze or whammy for shit.

here's a hint.

You don't use two SP phrases.

Will this path get 173,9xx like Piso and emptyset have?

Without any squeezing or early whammy or any of that, it will net you 173,5xx

Which means it is like one squeeze (of a double note) away from them...but debr's site also lists their score as '80%' squeeze too...

I don't know how to factor an 80% squeeze in.

Good enough for me. I'll go find the activations.

This is the best I could do. It should get somewhere around 173,700 I think. Couple tough squeezes though.

Ruby Hard SP

I don't know if Piso and emptyset squeezed another note out of the 1st activation or if they somehow had a different path, but this path should pretty much be right.

If you move your first activation forward to the next note, you could squeeze in the a red, orange, and blue.
