For the first activation, what about whammyin' only the GR chord in the second phrase and whammy the third? Maybe it would not work for early whammying but...since the SP bar is less than half meter filled...

Heres what I do:

Whammy only the 2nd phrase, and don't whammy the 1st or 3rd. This gets you almost perfectly the right amount of SP
