this topic is a very obvious one. what are some of the things in IIDX/popn that just frustrate the hell out of you. my list includes (but is not limited to):
1. the number 78.
2. measure 69
3. measures 50-61 on colors (radio edit)
4. rediculous clustered charts
5. Quell-the butt sex slave
6. Due Tomorrow |

I'm not on 12s (still on 7s), but I can guess that this will be frustrating to hard clear, mainly because of 1:19-1:28.

I totally agree with that. That's the reason I've only passed the song once (on Hyper/7K of course). |

3.bad randoms
4.Arcade scratch
5. one hand play
6. the IIDX community
7.Romeo and Juliet [a] (I want to nail whoever made that chart to a cross)
8. AAA -10s and 20s
9. Getting 78ed
10. Hard failing really close to the end.
11. trying to be ambidexterous and failing
12. scratchy songs
13. random dependent charts
14. jack hammer charts
And I wonder why I still play this game... _________________

Popn: I can't stand the fact that some days I can destroy a 42, and then others my head is exploding from the charts.
Going from 40 to a 42 skill is the most annoying thing ever. |

-Left hand. My left hand might as well be an index and pinky, and the other fingers broken off. Hey, wait, that sounds metal.
-Quell -The Seventh Slave- [a]. The 7k version WAS FINE you dickholes. The [a] sounds as though they sped it up in training mode. Which is an actual feature in IIDX DistorteD, by the way.
-Nageki No Ki [a].
-78%.
-Fucking up perfect randoms
-GETTING THREE OF THE ABOVE AT THE SAME TIME. JHDGFJKLAJGFHJASLJHG
-IIDX/general music game community. "You can't do x, so your opinion doesn't count" appears to be a TRAGICALLY common theme now-a-day.
That's about it for me. |

i don't know if you're referring to the song on 7k or the chart, i think that everything past measure 51 on the 7k chart is the only reason it's as tough of a 9 as it is. (at least for me, throw in 1 chord during a stream and i'm screwed). but if you're saying that on 7k the song speeds up, i wouldn't be able to argue with you there cuz i wouldn't have ever noticed it. |

There are no speed changes IN the charts itself, but there is a BPM difference between the charts, very rarely done in IIDX. The L7 and 7K charts play at 140 BPM throughout, and the [a] plays at 162 BPM throughout. Play both the 7K and the [a] on autoplay and you'll notice the difference.
The only other one this happens to that comes immediately to mind is EraserMotorMaximum 7K and [a] on RED, and those are different songs altogether. |
