If you restart the song to many times the hopos do sometimes become buggy. What happens is one of the blue notes will begin to function as a non hopo note, and it will always be in the same spot. If you quit the song and select it again the note will get fixed.

Yeah, it's a pretty well known HOPO bug in the PS2 version of GH2.
