So the question arises, then, is this the optimal path, regardless of where they end on the image?

at first quick look.. it looks like 3-3-2-2

my monitor is small so i cant really see his picture.

EDIT: Nope, thats definately wrong. comes up 40k short and has one extra activation than i got

No it's a 3-2-2-2. But there is a lot of whammying that is able to be thrown in there.
