GameInformer rates DJ Hero a 9.0 / Gold Rating

GameInformer issue 200 has the review as well. Do you guys think positive ratings will help push sales at all, or will it depend more on word of mouth?

i think it will help... I think any good review will help, the more reliable the better...

That price tag is a tough nut to crack, and i think the price cutting deals we've seen lately will also push sales.

The good news is dj hero 2 will be that much cheaper for us already having the turntables.

I also think, once score hero has score tracking for this, we'll see more activity here for dj hero (as we can then invite our friends we meet via online matches and scoreboard) which will also boost sales from the rest of the rhythm game community which visits here.

A *LOT* of people subscribe to GameInformer, because Gamestop shoves it down everyone's throat (to the people who work at Gamestop's credit, it's their job to sell it to you and they get paid to do it, so it's not their fault). So, with that being said, it's really good to have a good review of a game in GameInformer. Maybe people will start pickin' it up here shortly. Lord I hope so. I want a sequel!
